Middle of the Night is here!

Middle of the Night is here! Lizzy and I have been working slowly on creating a full length record. The process has been very different from how we put the EP together. We wrote every song on this completely together and we have let the songs take time to grow rather than record them as we write them. Middle of the Night was a fun one to write and process. I hope you can enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed releasing it!

You can find it anywhere you stream music!

As always, thank you for giving us your ears and your time.

Where Are We Now?

"Where Are We Now?" is a collection of songs Lizzy and I wrote this past year. It is a five song EP that we are extremely excited to bring into the world. We have been making music since we were small (we are still small but you know what I mean), but we did not realize our potential we had to create original music together until this year. It has been an interesting process creating the EP. Liz is in an intense program at Daeman College and I have been working full time and beyond so our schedules don't lend us a ton of time to sit and write together. Somehow we were able to pull this off with the help of our cousin Mike Fridmann who engineered the EP. Mike knows so many things that we do not and made our songs better than we ever could. We also had an incredible design team. John Baker (Apricity Photography) was an extremely gracious photographer since we are so goofy and pretty bad at getting our photos taken. He made us look and feel like angels which was pretty amazing. Chelsea Kowalik did all the album artwork and did a stunning job! We had no idea what we wanted and she was so patient with us and in the end created the perfect album artwork.

These songs mean a lot to us and I hope people will be able to connect with them in their own way.

"Where Are We Now?" will release everywhere on November 3rd! We are an EP release party that night at Penny Lane Cafe from 8-11. KWKA (Mike Fridmann) and The Redwood Trio will be sharing the stage with us and it will be a diverse and wonderful night of music!

This is a huge step for Carmen & Lizzy and I cannot wait to see what comes next!

Love,

Carmen
